Diane Ewen is an award-winning illustrator and writer whose vibrant and engaging artwork brings stories to life. She is passionate about fairness, inclusion, and diversity in publishing, ensuring that every child sees themselves reflected in books.

Her debut picture book, Never Show a T-Rex a Book, written by Rashmi Sirdeshpande, was an instant hit, leading to collaborations with renowned authors such as Maria Isabel Sánchez Vegara (Little People, Big Dreams) and Dame Floella Benjamin (Coming to England).

Diane has been widely recognised for her exceptional talent, winning prestigious awards including the Jericho Prize (2021), the Queen’s Knickers Award, the Anna Dewdney Award, and a National Book Award (Nibbie) for Hey You!.

She is now working on her very first author-illustrated book while continuing to create exciting illustrations for new projects.
